Today's organisations- both public and private- need collaborative working across borders and depend largely on effective networking. Modern day's organisations depend more and more on networks.
 
Given this scenario, networking and communication management becomes very crucial. Networking and communication solutions address all the networking needs and provide networking infrastructure support to adapt to ever evolving needs of the organisations. Networking technologies and products include routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, intrusion detection and intrusion prevention systems, remote access and wireless devices.

Indian Telecommunication industry, with about 500 million mobile phone connections (November 2009), is the third largest telecommunication network in the world and the second largest in terms of number of wireless connections. Efforts are being made from both governmental and non-governmental platforms to enhance the infrastructure. These are coupled with the advances in communication and network technology, thus making these applications becoming increasingly essential.
