Justin Chen has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Indian operations of Huawei Technologies. Chen succeeds George Huang, who has returned to the parent company in the consumer service product line, after a stint of over three years in Huawei Technologies India (HTI). Chen plans to focus on enhancing the company's R&D centre in India, promote end-to-end ownership of products and establish the firm in software and services domain.
HTI is the company's largest R&D facility outside of China and focuses on developing telecom core platforms and end-to-end telecom solutions.
