Four new products have been launched by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) which are, Saarathy (mobile navigation solutions); MI SDK – medical informatics SDK suite with SDK for DICOM and SDK for HL7; EQ-Check (software for computer aided seismic checking and design of concrete structures) and GO-Write (GIST online writer independent text entry).

Saarathy has features like multilingual support, read map layers such as road, landmarks and intrinsic formats, display satellite data, rescue model to track the user on a map background along with emergency sound, navigate module to create new path etc. These application areas are emergency, police, mobile tracking, medical information, personal safety, tourism, transport, field data collection, defense. EQ-check as a software provides for computer aided seismic checking and design of concrete structures using all the Indian standard (IS) codes. Go-write is a handwritten recognition technology for mobiles/PDA's. Version 1.0 of medical informatics standards software is a low cost, designed/ built as API set, available on both Java and Net platforms, optimisations for low memory and storage profile, leverages platform's multi-core / multiprocessing capabilities.
