Preparations for the third annual African e-government Forum to be held in Rwanda in March have begun. The three-day event will give an opportunity to Information and communication technologies to voice their views, insights, knowledge and share experiences at the forum. Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO) will be organizing the event. CTO is an international development partnership between Commonwealth and non-Commonwealth governments, business and civil society organisations.

The Forum hopes to attract Ministers of Technology, heads of e-government projects, civil society leaders and representatives from IT organizations including mobile operators, infrastructure providers, foundations, development and donor agencies to discuss current issues and witness success stories on e-government in Africa.
