The Department of Posts, Government of India has invited Expression of Interest (EOI) from interested bidders for appointing Project Consultant for its Information Technology (IT) projects.

DOP has invited sealed tenders for providing consultancy services for developing an IT road map and facilitating its roll out. The consultancy services would include preparation of business model, IT and business proecess re-engineering, enterprise wide ICT enablement, establishment of data centre, business connectivity, disaster recovery and information security. The Consultant will be required to help in the selection of implementation partner for the program including the software, hardware, networking and Public Private Partnership (PPP)based operations.

The last date for submission of receiving written querries is January 9, 2009. The EOI document is available on the DOP website: http://www.indiapost.gov.in. The last date and time for the submission of EOI document is January 16, 2009 at or before 1500 hrs. DOP mentions that the EOI document must be accompanied with a bid security of INR 15, 00,000. The Opening of EOI will be conducted at 1600 hrs on January 16, 2009 in Room No. 422-A, Technology Division, 4th Floor, Dak Bhawan, Sansad Marg, New Delhi – 110001.
