Governor Jai Prakash Nehra inaugurated a computer centre at Piphema Village in Nagaland to spread computer literacy and bring about rapid awareness at the doorsteps of remote areas of the state.
The Governor emphasised upon the spread of computer education amongst the youth fraternity for facilitating avenues of self employment.
The Baptist Church Association is given the task of supervising the activities of these computer centres.
The state government's endeavour of undertaking development activities in the rural and remote areas of the state and youth development programme will remain one of the key areas said the Governor.
