The Government of Haryana has announced that the rollout of Citizen Service Centers (CSCs) called e-Disha Ekal Sewa Kendras in the state will be completed by mid April 2008. The centres would serve as a single window service delivery channel for government services and will greatly benefit the citizens of Haryana.
 
Out of 1263 CSCs to be rolled out for the delivery of various government to citizen and business to citizen services, 1159 would be rural based whereas 104 would be urban based CSCs.
The e-Disha Ekal Seva Kendras will be operated by village level entrepreneurs (VLEs), and will be based on a franchisee model.

The CSCs will provide a wide range of G2C services like issue of land record certificates, registration, issue of certificates, government schemes, employment of exchange services, issuance of ration cards, electoral services, pension schemes, road transport, public grievances and payment of utility bills.
