The TIS system will provide information, suggestions on alternate routes and bus timings via SMS. It will also be able to provide traffic density data in the form of map. Bangalore-based Mapunity Information Services is designing the TIS system. Mapunity has a tied up with Airtel and all users of the service would show up on the TIS map.
