Haryana (India) Govt selects 3i Infotech for e-governance project

The Haryana state government has selected 3i-Infotech firm for the establishment of e-Disha Ekal Seva Kendra Project.

The company will collaborate with the Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation (HARTRON), the State's nodal agency in order to roll out the project. The state government and the firm will set-up around 322 Citizen Service Centers (eDisha Ekal Seva Kendras) in the Gurgaon division comprising Gurgaon, Faridabad, Rewari, Mahendergarh and Mewat districts. These centres will serve as a single-window service delivery channel for Government services. A wide range of services will be made available through the Seva Kendras, including issue of land record certificates, registration, issuing of certificates, knowledge and information on various Government schemes, employment exchange services, issuance of ration cards, electoral services, information on pension schemes, issuance of licenses for road transport, application of public grievance, and payment of utility, telephone and electricity bills.
