The Malta government is planning to provide all government services online by the end of the year 2010.

The ambitious project will make Malta unique and should place it at the top of the European rankings on e-Government. While speaking at the launch of the services, Home Affairs Minister Tonio Borg said that Malta is at the forefront when it comes to e-Government, and the Government wanted to keep strengthening the services in order to facilitate the life of the citizens and to reduce the need of running between one Government department and another.
