Dubai Govt. promotes Dubai eGovernment portal

The Dubai Government has launched an advertising campaign to promote Dubai eGovernment's portal www.dubai.ae, which the public can access for all online services.

The move comes as government departments accelerate efforts to improve their online services in line with the target set by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to provide 90 per cent of government services online and attain a utilisation rate of not less than 50 per cent. The various online services will help Dubai residents and visitors save time and money, while also boosting the efficiency rate of the government agencies incorporated into the web-based platform. The site also incorporates health card renewal and other health-related services, commercial and industrial information, court-related documents and services, utility bill payments, land transactions, traffic fine payments, car registration and licence renewal, visa processing, tenancy issues, flight and hotel information and marriage applications.
