The Department of Local Governance (DLG), Bhutan has installed a computer software, named  Instantaneous Access to Exceptional Information System (INSTAXX) to facilitate e-Governance in the country.

The software has tool kits for transparency, measuring performance, improving service delivery, addressing grievances and storing data, which can be used for  crisis management and disaster management.  INSTAXX Station can receive information in any mode of communication, including e-mail, Fax, SMS, telephone, wireless, telegram or in hard copy.  The system will also provide all the complaints and discussions heard during the national assembly and any other high-level conferences. The software can be used in e-government related projects, for e-Procurement for streamlining the tender systems, e-Service for citizen services like registration of land records and grievances and e-Project monitoring like irrigation and construction projects.
