Mumbai Central railway station of India will have a cyber cafe with a capacity of over 20 people; international calls, and chat @ INR 20 an hour.
This is the first time, the Western Railway (WR) has started a cyber cafe with high-speed Internet connectivity and the facility to connect commuters' personal laptops to (Wi-Fi) connections. Western Railways is planning to setup the cyber cafe at the Passenger Reservation Centre (PRC) hall at Mumbai Central station. It will have a seating capacity of over 20 people. People can browse, video chat, make international calls among other things, for INR 20 per hour. The kiosk will have Wi-Fi technology of 2.4-gigabyte frequency around 100 meters from the cyber cafe.
