Khuda Jassu village of Chandigarh, India has received its first rural e-Governance facilitation centre. The centre named e-Gram Sampark provides all facilities to villagers from depositing bills to collecting pensions.

While inaugurating the centre, Chandigarh administrator S.F. Rodrigues told that all villages in the union territory would be provided with this facility by the end of this year. Chandigarh has already e-Sampark centres, which facilitate people with all services like deposition of bills, obtain certificates, pensions and other utility services.
