Government is providing additional funds for agriculture development and trying to increase awareness and usage of digital technology among farmers. The government is pushing farmers to participate in e-Commerce opportunities as a way of helping them increase farm incomes and improve their livelihood.The agriculture department is already ramping up training for policy development in the areas of information technology to ensure greater and cheaper access to technology for farmers.
