Recently, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Region 12 of Philippines has launched its e-Lounge programme, as a part of its e-Services. The e- Lounge programme is a web-based programme, which is designed to intensify its tax collection efforts.


e-Services is available to the public with internet connection all day and all night to conduct transactions with the bureau from applications to payments. The main of the programme is to improve information delivery to the taxpayers as well as the employees of BIR. The project is intending to improve its customer service by giving the clients access to relevant information while maintaining the knowledge database of the bureau. The BIR services also includes e-Portal, e-FPS, e-Payee, e-TIN, e-Broadcast, e-Correspondence, e-Relief, e-Sales, e-Submission, e-Alphalist, e-Accreg, e-Report Card, e-NGAS, e-LAMS and other services like the Computer-Assited Audit Program, Business Intelligence Task Force and the BIR Contact Center.
