Non-government organisations (NGOs) in Haryana, India will have to create their individual websites by the end of June and keep them updated to qualify for further grants. They have to give all relevant information about their NGO.
Social Welfare Minister Kartar Devi told that this would ensure transparency in their functioning. The relevant information of each NGO would include their physical facilities, financial resources, composition of management, professional experience, details of activities, information regarding beneficiaries, expenditure and sources of funding. This will provide knowledge to the public about the schemes sanctioned by the government.
