Dubai RTA transforms 28% public services to online

Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has transformed its 28 percent of its public services to electronic services after merging with Dubai Police and Dubai Municipality.

 

Dubai E-Government, an initiative of the Dubai Government is facilitating the lives of people and business companies in their dealings with the government and contribute to the consolidation of standing in the Dubai vanguard in the knowledge economy. Currently RTA Dubai is collaborating with IBM Middle East. The e-Government Strategy Project is expected to conclude by the end of March 2007 and it is expected to enable Dubai to reach the 90 percent online target. Dubai e-Government is planning to launch new services on the Internet, in accordance with the standards of the Dubai E-Government and review and adoption of the RTA.
