AGS Infotech has launched 'Kisan ATMs in association with Wincor Nixdorf International to fulfill the banking needs of rural India. Kisan ATMs uses fingerprint verification and voice guided service instead of using PIN number.

AGS Infotech has incorporated features like fingerprint verification and voice guided animated screens with one touch-enabled transaction, eliminating complex navigation menus in their ATMs. These ATMs recognise voice commands in the vernacular lingua franca in a region's accent. Kisan ATM uses only 240 watts of power to fulfill the challenges of power cut in rural areas. The most efficient and cost-effective way to do this is by setting up ATMs in mobile banking units or 'Branch-On-Wheels'. The Branch-on-wheel would carry a 'Kisan ATM' from village to village. ING Vysya, Bangalore has already deployed Kisan ATMs in Karnataka.
