Korea has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China to enhance cooperation in the development of electronic governance systems.

 

Both Governments are agreed to share information and knowledge, including exchanging public sector human resources and tapping into private sector for systems development. Seoul Government is pushing e-Governance with the bridging the gap between cities and regional villages and improving communications between the metropolitan administration, citizens and businesses. Currently, there are 305 e-Government sites online. Now the ministry is planning to increase the number of sites by 800.
