A team of e-Government experts and implementers of the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) Malaysia will share Malaysia’s key learning and experience while e-Transactions in Saudi Arabia.


Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) and the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry are teaming up with various Saudi Arabian government agencies to discuss and share Malaysia’s experience related to e-Government projects. MdeC knowledge sharing will help Saudi Arabia to reduce the development timeframe and minimise problems and errors related to its e-Government initiatives. MDeC chief executive officer, Badlisham Ghazali will also deliver a keynote address on “Strategic Dimensions of e-Government Transactions”. Malaysia’s knowledge will implement various e-Government projects like human resource management information system, e-Procurement, e-Billing and e-Management of a host of other governmental services in Saudi Arabia. The mission will also serve to promote the World Congress in Information Technology (WCIT 2008), which would be hosted by Malaysia from May 18 to 22 next year.
