The Nashik district administration has launched the Nashik One (N-1) project in Bangalore, India.

The purpose of Nashik One project is to ease customer interaction with various departments as well as to change the department-centric' functioning of the government into a more 'customer-centric' one. The project is planning to bring all government services together and link them through digitally. The new model is based on the fact that a customer needs information from various departments. The system will groom official work as well as easy access to information to citizens, single-window service, flexibility in choice of access methods and less pain in terms of breaking the bureaucratic juggernaut.  The project N-1 will also provide long-term benefits to all departments and government officers. A 6C model has been developed for the implementation of the project including, Content, Competencies, Connectivity, Cyber laws, Citizen Interface and Capital. The aim of the project to set application if IT for good governance and will graduate into better interaction, transaction and integration among officers and customers. The project is based on Bangalore-One pattern and it will have a central information centre. There would be around 15 citizen interlinked interaction centers, which will allow public private partnership, where private phone companies and other service providers like banks, insurance, will be given space along with BSNL, MSRTC, Railways and others.
