Dubai e-Government is launching an awareness campaign for increasing the usage of its online services.

 

According to Rehab Lootah, e-Services provisioning manager, the aim of the awareness campaign is to educate business users and members of the public to use online services. She expected that all departments would follow the same teamwork to reach their goal. The campaign will target on the individual business users and teach them to use these services. 50 percent of the transactions are carried out through electronically in Dubai, while the government is targeting for 90 per cent. Currently, the amount spent on online transactions had reached 44million AED (US$11.9million).
