Aircel Business Solutions announced that, company is going to provide wireless Internet services in Bangalore (India) through Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) technology. The company has already enabled WiMAX connectivity at the Palace grounds, the venue of Bangalore IT exhibition.


ABS is also in the final stage of implementing WiMAX network and enterprise markets in various locations of Bangalore like Electronic City, Airport Road, Commercial Street, M G Road etc. Later on company would gradually extend this service to the other parts of the city. According to Ram Shinde, ABS Head, the company is planning to make the city 'wire free' by enabling wireless connectivity through WiMAX for SME. WiMAX allow customers to access high speed wireless Internet service at a affordable price. ABS has already launched WiMAX in Chennai with the 90 per cent coverage across commercial areas. Besides, Bangalore, Chennai, Company is also planning to deploy WiMAX networks in Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi, Cochin and Ahmedabad and 26 more cities in future.
