IT institute opens the first domestic ICT and R&D centre in the Ghandi Nagar (India)

The Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT) is planning to open the new domestic ICT centre in the institute. The institute is also planning to open the research driven centre at their campus. The cost of this centre would be cost approximately Rs. 8 crore and it will involve number of technology instruments for the students.

 

According to the Prabhat Ranjan, Professor in DA-IICT, the institute is planning to focus on convergence and involvement of novel technologies in different sectors of India. Initially the institute will invest Rs. 8 crore on the project and for further needs; institute will take grant from government.
