Nairobi will host the inaugural United Nations e-Government forum for local authorities.
According to the African e-Development Resource Centre (AeRC), the three-day event will be held under the auspices of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (Uneca). The event is co-sponsored by directorate of e-Government in Kenya and the AeRC. AeRC official, Mr Andrew Karanja, on said the forum would bring together key decision makers involved in implementing e-Government strategies in the East African region.
