Information and Communication Technology ministers from Eastern and Southern African countries have signed a policy and regulatory protocol for Nepad broadband ICT infrastructure network.
The Eastern Africa Sub -Marine cable System (EASSY) Project Protocol that was signed on August 29 in Kigali, Rwanda is aimed at improving telecommunication and ICT development in Africa, a press statement from the Uganda Communications Commission said on August 31.
