The Dubai eGovernment is all set to achieve its goal to provide 90 per cent of all government services on-line and 50 per cent of government transactions to be conducted through the various innovative channels by the end of 2007, according to a top official from the department.

Salem Khamis Al-Shair, director, eServices, and member of Dubai eGovernment executive team, said that according to the latest tally 85 per cent of over 1,900 government services are already available either online or through various other innovative channels. An initial target of providing 70 per cent of the government services online was achieved last year.
