In Kenya, High Court judges will soon start posting their rulings on the Judiciary’s website as part of reforms in the department.

All 43 judges in the country will be provided with laptops. All High Court judges have received the training in Information Technology to handle a computer effectively. Automatic-recording devices are going to be installed in the High Courts of Kenya. This device would replace manual note-taking at all High Courts in Nairobi. The government had already approved the project, adding that tenders for the installation of the machines will be awarded soon. The introduction of automated court recorders will be a big boost to the department, which was lagging behind in technological advancement.
