The North Delhi Power Limited (NDPL) has started a Mobile Bill Payment Centre and introduced online bill payment facility through credit card for its over nine lakh consumers in the Indian Capital.

The Mobile Bill Payment Centre is an air-conditioned office-on-wheels which will accept payment through cash and cheque. It is equipped with facilities for bar code scanning, receipt printing and also has a cheque drop box. The company has also introduced an online bill payment facility through credit cards  Master/Diners/Visa/Citibank) after successful completion of the pilot project which started on December 15, 2005 and saw more than 150 consumers opting to pay online through the NDPL website, “www.ndplonline.com“. Consumers have to just log on to www.ndplonline.com, punch their K. No. and select from the option pay through credit card / internet banking. On selecting this option, all details of consumers will appear and after verification of these details, consumers can make the payment and print their payment receipt.
